Police arrested young man who threw a banana at Dani Alves

Agents of the National Police on Tuesday arrested the young football fan for throwing banana on footballer Daniel Alves of FC Barcelona during the match between his team and Villarreal at the El Madrigal stadium Castellon, Europa Press reported quoting police sources.
The young man was arrested on Tuesday and detained at the station of the National Police Force Villarreal. He has been charged with a crime against the fundamental rights and public freedoms collected in Article 510 of the Penal Code.
The incident occurred on Sunday 75 minutes into the match, when David Campayo Lleo, 26, threw a banana to the field on the Brazilian Dani Alves, a gesture that had a racist overtones.
In response to his banana throwing act, his own club, Villarreal, took the decision to withdraw his life membership card and prevent him the access to the field.
