Dry ports: underscores need for better Facilities

The President Mamnoon Hussain during a meeting with the Sialkot Dry Port trust said that the dry port needed the latest and the best available facilities to increase the speed of order delivery, which would allow them to benefit form the increased trade concessions offered by the international community.

While speaking to the members of the Sialkot Dry Port Trust, which was led by the Trust chairman Mohammad Ishaque Butt, The President also said that there is a need to take steps in order to increase the exports of Pakistan.

The President emphasized on how important the business community and the exporters play a role in the progress and the development of the country and how they are a major component in the ongoing economic turnaround of the country.

He also urged them to amp up their efforts and add to the government measures to take full advantage of Pakistan’s geo-strategic location. Using the liberal incentive packages provided by the government, they would be able to promote export and attract lots of foreign and domestic investments in different sectors.
