Pakistan Cricket Board revealed on Monday that it is going to try and push the International Cricket Council so they can reduce the ban which they levied upon Mohammad Amir for match fixing. The meeting between the two parties is going to take place on Tuesday.

An anti-corruption code of the International Cricket Council is going to come into play in order to reduce the ban which has been put upon Mohammad Amir. He has been banned from cricket for a long time now and now the Pakistani Cricket Board wants him to make a return as they are about to play the Cricket World Cup in the year 2015.

The idea which is being floated by Pakistan Cricket Board revolves around the fact that they want the player to start playing cricket before the ban has been lifted, so that he can be fully tested.

Najam Sethi is personally handling this situation and he will be taking all legal actions so that the young player can start playing cricket again.

Amir spoke to the press about the situation and said, “To have the opportunity to re-launch my career a few months ahead of the ban could make a huge difference to me. It is a massive boost for me to hear this good news.”
