50 Militants Killed in Pakistan

Pakistani Armed forces are currently in war with the militants who are residing in the North Waziristan Region.

The Pakistani government and the militants were about to get involved in peace talks. However, since there are several factions in Tehreek E Taliban, not all of them agreed with what the Pakistani government had to offer. This was realized when one group from the TTP decided to kill the 27 troops it kidnapped back in 2010.

Pakistani army then carried out an attack in North Waziristan after which the militants were willing to compromise and come back on common ground.

However, a recent attack at the Karachi International Airport left Pakistan with absolutely no choice. There were several militants who entered the airport and almost managed to put a plane on fire. However, the army took good control of the situation and the threat was eradicated altogether.

Pakistan is now involved in a war with the militants who are located in the North Waziristan region. Recent reports revealed that as many as 50 militants have been killed by the Pakistani Air Force, who have been bombarding the region for quite a lot of days now.

At least 15 militants were killed on June 24^th as reported by reliable sources.
