EC to provide copy of Imran’s nomination papers to Arsalan

It is reported from Islamabad that Pakistan Election Commission has decided to provide the copy of the nomination documents of  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan to the son the Former Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, Arsalan Iftikhar.

Election Commission of Pakistan has accepted Arsalan Iftikhar’s request to obtain copy of the Imran Khan’s nominations forms.  Election Commission will provide copies of the requested documents within next two days.

Arsalan Iftikhar had met the Secretary Election Commission Ishtiaq Ahmed last Saturday to submit an application to get the details of the information provided by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on the nomination papers as candidate for the National Assembly. 

Arsalan Iftikhar said that PTI Chairman,  according to the documents submitted to Election Commission, indicated only two children Sulaiman and Qasim, however, he did not mention his daughter Tyrian.

Arsalan said that by providing false information, Imran Khan has violated the section 62 and 63 of the Pakistan Constitution and thus become ineligible to become member of National Assembly.

Arsalan further said that he will file a reference against Imran Khan for disqualification after consultation with his lawyers.
