Kiev Thursday accused Russia of shooting down one of its warplanes, a Su -25 was conducting military operations in the east, forcing the pilot to bail out,  said Andrei Lysenko, spokesman of the Security Council national Defence and Ukrainian.

“A warplane of the Russian Federation hit with a missile by a Su -25 Air Force [ Ukrainian ] serving a mission in Ukrainian territory,” Lysenko stated at a press conference. The spokesman reported that the “new Russian provocation” occurred ” on July 16 at 19.00 ” but the pilot catapulted and was evacuated to a safe place. ” The pilot is safe, was not injured,” he said.

On Monday, a Ukrainian military plane  An-26 transport, taking part in the operation against the separatists east, was shot in the Lugansk region, in the border with Russia. Lysenko reported Thursday that two of the eight crew of the plane were found dead, while four have been rescued and two others have been arrested by the rebels.

These five soldiers killed in the last 24 hours in the offensive against rebel strongholds in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, which are already 276 casualties among government forces are added.

Lysenko showed a video to demonstrate the incursion of heavy weapons from Russia, specifically missile launchers Grad (Hail).

These reports coincide with the celebration Thursday of the third round of consultations of the Contact Group, where Separatist participate in video conference format from the rebel city of Donetsk.

Also be represented by the Ukrainian Government, Russia and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), a mediator in the conflict that erupted last April.

For weeks, Kiev accuses Moscow of allowing free movement across the border of rebel militants, including many Russian mercenaries, in addition to supplying weapons to the insurgents.

However, Ukraine on Wednesday ruled out a possible rupture of diplomatic relations, arguing that it would be counterproductive to achieving a political settlement of the conflict.

In a gesture of goodwill, 15 Ukrainian border guards were hospitalized Wednesday in the Russian region of Rostov after being injured, four of them seriously, in clashes with pro-Russian rebels.
