Real Madrid Signs James Rodriguez

Real Madrid have once again landed one of the best talents in the world of football – James Rodriguez. The former Monaco star player showed his brilliant run of form as he was playing for Columbia in the FIFA World Cup.

The World Cup saw James Rodriguez play behind the striker for Columbia and he was able to score 7 goals in that position. These 7 goals were enough for him to win the Golden Boot award, which makes him the highest goal-scorer in the FIFA World Cup 2014.

Real Madrid, who are already relying on a lot of star players, are once again trying to build a dream team. With the likes of Angel Di Maria, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodriguez is definitely going to bolster in the team.

The player has cost Real Madrid a fortune 85 million Euros, but this is the sort of cash that Real Madrid is willing to spend in order to become the best team in the world of football.

Madrid, while playing under their currently manager Carlo Ancelotti, have managed to win a European double as they won the UEFA Champions League and also the Copa del Rey. The only thing missing from their treble was the Spanish La Liga, which was won by their neighbourhood team, Atletico Madrid.
