Pakistani boxer wins Commonwealth Games silver medal

Pakistani boxer Muhammad Waseem won the silver medal in 52kg boxing bout during the Commonwealth Games 2014 in Glasgow. He lost the final bout to the Australian boxer Andrew Moloney. Pakistan has now bagged  three silver medals and one bronze in the Commonwealth Games.

Pakistan boxer Muhammad Waseem who had knocked down Ghana’s Abdul Omar in the men’s flyweight 52 kg semi final bout, could not defeat his Australian competitor 23 years old Andrew Moloney in the final game. He won the silver medal for Pakistan.

Pakistani players have won three silver medals and one bronze medal in the Commonwealth games in Glasgow.
