Removing Nawaz is only agenda of long march, Sheikh Rashid

Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rashid told reporters that one point agenda of the long marches on August 14 is the removal of Nawzaz Sharif from government. He said that we have no other demand than toppling the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) government.

Imran Khan who announced the long march on Ausgust 14 to register his protest against alleged massive rigging in 2013 general elections. Imran Khan now is also saying he going to Islamabad to topple the government. Dr. Tahirul Qadri, on the other hand, has announced long march to change the system.

Sheikh Rashid has formed alliance with the two parties and would take part in the long march along with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on August 14, Pakistan’s independence day.

Sheikh Rashid was previously member of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) but parted his ways when Nawaz Sharif was in exile.
