Altaf Hussain appeals politicians to initiate negotiations

Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain has appealed in a statement on Tuesday August 12, 2014 to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, PTI Chief Imran Khan and PAT President Dr Tahirul Qadri should immediately start negotiation to resolve all the issues to save human lives and democracy.

MQM Chief, while talking about the political crisis of the country, said that negotiation was the only way to avoid confrontation and negotiation would resolve all the differences. He appealed to all the stake holders to leave their intransigence and obstinacy for the sake of the country.

Mr Altaf Hussain said that it was fundamental right of people and the parties to march peacefully for their demands and the government should room them to do so. But if, the government would take action against the protestors and use power against them then the confrontation would definitely be expected and he had no intention to support any confrontation.

Altaf Hussain said that he is strongly against the obsolete political system, which defended only the feudal elites since the inception of the country.

MQM leader  said revolution only could be brought in the country through ballots not through confrontations or agitations. Altaf Hussain said that his party would bring a genuine democratic revolution through transparent elections and power of ballots.
