Governor Punjab contact MQM to discuss political situation

Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar telephoned MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and discussed the current political situation with him on August 17m 2014 according to a press statement. Muhammad Sarwar appreciated Altaf Hussain’s role to resolve the ongoing political crisis and termed it very timely.
 
Meanwhile, MQM Chief also applauded his efforts for resolving the issue. He said that people, who involved in settling the issue, should be acknowledged for their roles. He said that he prayed to reach for a unanimous resolution acceptable for both government and opposing parties.

Altaf Hussain has also appealed to Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf to withdraw their ultimatums and remain limited to putting forward demands.
