Pakistan Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, has said on Monday September 1, 2014 that he would neither resign nor go on leave of absence.

PM Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting of his coalition partners and leaders of the opposition parties in parliament. All the political parties were on one page that Nawaz Sharif should not resign.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif had earlier met with the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take him into confidence about the decisions taken in the core commanders conference.
