PTI denies Hashmi’s allegations

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Central Information Secretary Shireen Mazari had said in a statement in Islamabad on Monday September 1, 2014 that Javed Hashmi’s allegations are baseless and without any grounds.

According to statement, party is adopting the party’s constitutional path by issuing him a show cause notice.
Our protest has been peaceful, democratic and constitutional as have been our demands.

Statement added, “Hashmi’s unfortunate allegations are without any grounding in facts. It is sad indeed that he has chosen this path of levelling unfounded allegations”.

Javed Hashmi had earlier claimed that he is still the president of PTI as Imran Khan did not remove him according to party constitution. Javed Hashmi also alleged that the protest was scripted.
