Only woman on FBI’s ‘Most Wanted’ list, arrested from Mexico

The FBI’s ‘Most-Wanted’ list contains the name of 10 most-wanted criminals in the U.S. and now a name of one of those fugitives will be struck-off from the list. A woman by the name of Brenda Delgado, who has been accused of plotting the death of another woman in Texas, was recently arrested from Mexico.

The details of the case elaborate that Delgado planned the murder-for-hire of a Dallas-based dentist, named Kendra Hatcher, who was dating her former boyfriend. She planned the murder out of jealousy and hired two men to carry out the heinous crime. After those men killed Hatcher, Delgado fled to Mexico and never returned to U.S. again.

The incident took place on 2^nd September, 2015, at a parking garage in Dallas. The two hired accomplices waited for Hatcher, and as she was putting her things in her car, they shot her and ran away. Even though Delgado did not carry out the crime herself, she is the one who planned it and hence is being indicted for capital murder charges.

“Although she didn’t pull the trigger herself, she is still responsible for the murder,” said Thomas Class Sr. of the FBI’s Dallas division.

Delgado promised to give her hired accomplices a huge sum of money and also ensured a steady supply of drugs to them from her cartel sources. It is still not clear where the two men will be charged with anything.

Delgado was the ninth woman to be placed on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted Fugitive’s List, since the time it was created in 1950. The FBI had put up a sum of $100,000 for information leading to her arrest. Eventually she was arrested from the city of Torreón on 9^th April, without any incident. If found guilty, Delgado will have to serve life in prison.
