Muzaffargarh Woman Conceals Lover In Trunk, Suffocating Him

Police confirmed on Sunday that a woman in Muzaffargarh, Punjab, who was having illicit relations with her cousin, accidentally suffocated him in a trunk in a ploy to hide him from relatives who had woken up late at night.

Mushtaq Ahmed Baloch, a 22-year-old married father was having an affair with his cousin, Rani Bibi, a mother of two. He came to her house at night while her family was asleep.

The entry of Baloch into the house caused noise which woke up Bibi’s father and brothers-in-law, forcing her to hide him in a large tin storage trunk in her room.

She went on to padlock the trunk.

However, her in-laws searched the room and Baloch had no choice but to shout for help since he was suffocating, police stated.

They failed to open the trunk and he died within 15 minutes.

SHO Sardar Muhammad Idrees confirmed, “We have arrested Bibi’s father-in-law and his two sons on murder charges.”

According to him, Bibi’s husband was not at home since he had a job in Karachi.

Ahmed Malik, Muzaffargarh district police chief confirmed the details.
