Jolie compromising children’s privacy for personal gains: Pitt

Brad Pitt has accused his former wife Angelina Jolie of compromising their children’s privacy in order to win a custody battle. He has asked a judge to seal details about the children emerging from the couple’s ongoing divorce and custody battle, according to court papers.
According to the details provided by Pitt’s lawyers, Jolie is showing little consideration for the welfare of their three boys and three girls in an attempt to make their father look bad. A motion was filed by Pitt’s lawyers in a Los Angeles court, in a bid to make Jolie stop doing that.
The 52-year-old star’s legal team also argues that Jolie has already violated an agreement to protect their children’s privacy, by naming their family’s therapist in public. Out of the celebrities’ six children, three are adopted.
The lawyers accuse Jolie, 41, of “attempting to clear the way to put in the public eye any allegations she can” without regard to the impact on the children.
Pitt and Jolie had been a couple since 2004 and they got married just two years back in August in France. To the public’s eye, things were going pretty strong between the two so when their divorce was announced in September, everyone was shocked.
Jolie had cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce and is seeking sole custody of her six children. She had accused Pitt of striking one of their children during a flight from France to Los Angeles. However, the FBI and social workers cleared Pitt from these allegations after conducting thorough investigations.
Meanwhile Pitt is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their children. He has been granted supervised visits to his children who are currently living with their mother as part of a temporary custody agreement.
