Saba Qamar disses Bollywood actors in leaked video

Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, who is soon to make her Bollywood debut, has come under fire for a leaked video which has recently surfaced online. In the video, Qamar is seen dissing Indian actors and in it she even went on to term Salman Khan as ‘chichora’ (indecent).

The two minute video is from an old episode of Pakistani morning show called ‘Good Morning Zindagi’, and even though it’s old, it recently surfaced online creating a stir. In the video, Qamar is asked to say ‘no’ to several Indian actors including; Hrithik Roshan, Emraan Hashmi, Ranbir Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh and Salman, under hypothetical situations.

While answering the questions, Qamar made some controversial statements but now while clarifying them, she says that the show was just for fun purposes and whatever she said in the show, she didn’t mean it.

Clarifying her stance, Qamar said in a statement on Saturday: “Good Morning Zindagi’ is a fun show where they ask you fun questions about Bollywood stars. Whatever I said about each of the actors was said just for fun at that moment.

“I love and respect the Indian film industry specially Salman Khan is such a huge star and so humble.” she added.

In the video, Qamar said that she wouldn’t want to work with Emraan Hashmi for fear of mouth cancer. Commenting about working with Riteish Deshmukh, she said that she wouldn’t want to work with ‘B-grade’ actor and when asked about Hrithik Roshan, she said she wouldn’t want to get involved with a father of two.

Saba made her acting debut in Pakistan with PTV Home drama ‘Main Aurat Hoon’ in 2004. She is set to appear in an Indian movie called ‘Hindi Medium’ with Irfann Khan.
