Pakistani football fans received great news on Sunday when it was revealed that Brazilian football legend, Ronaldinho will be visiting Pakistan soon. The good news was shared by the legend himself in a video message which has since gone viral on social media.

“Pakistan, I am coming,”, the two times FIFA player of the year, said in a video message holding Pakistan’s national flag.

Although no other details were shared by Ronaldinho on the dates and the reason behind his visit, sports analysts understand that he will be coming to Pakistan to play an exhibition match, along with some other football players from around the world. The video was shared by the Brazilian footballer to build hype before the actual match.

Meanwhile sources confirmed that Ronaldinho is being invited by the organizers of Leisure League and it is highly likely that he will participate in one of the league matches in Karachi.

When contacted, an officer of Leisure League confirmed that Ronaldinho has been signed by Leisure League to visit Pakistan. However, further details regarding the visit and the dates were now shared by the official, who added that these details will be announced in a press conference next week.

“I can confirm that Leisure Leagues will be bringing Ronaldinho to Pakistan. More details of this will be revealed in our press conference in the next few days,” said Shahrukh Sohail, country consultant of Leisure Leagues.

Ronaldinho is the club ambassador for Spanish club FC Barcelona. He is also the title holder for FIFA World Player of the Year award for the years 2004 and 2005.
