Mystery woman in Imad Wasim’s pictures revealed

Cricket all-rounder Imad Wasim appears to be embroiled in a controversy involving a mystery woman who accused him of making false promise of marrying her. Now the mystery girl has been revealed and it has been learnt that she is a Dutch national of Afghan descent.

Pictures of the woman and Imad Wasim surfaced online last week and after a few days of keeping mum, Wasim released a series of tweets claiming that the girl was just a fan of his who is spreading false rumors about him. However, after these tweets, the Dutch woman came forward and spoke to different news channels in Pakistan, telling her side of the story.

According to the woman, the two met in London where Wasim had gone for the Champion’s Trophy. The two met in a London hotel where they spent three days together and it is at that time that he promised to marry the girl.

However, after the all-rounder went to West Indies to play the Caribbean Premier League, he severed all contacts with the Dutch woman, leaving her with no option but to go public with her story.

The woman says that videos cannot be doctored and the two even have videos together in which they are seen happily together.

Asked in an interview about the cricketer’s denial of her accusations, the girl said: “It was disturbing to hear that. We did spend time together. You can’t photoshop a video and in video you can see clearly it’s him and me.”

She claimed that it has been months that she did not hear from Imad, saying, “I don’t mind that, but the way he did it is not okay. Because, he made so many promises to me; I didn’t even ask for that kind of relationship.”

The Dutch woman said that Imad told her that “‘I want to get married with you, but I want to see you first and want to spend some time with you. And I was fine with that'”.

The woman says that she is just seeking an apology from the cricketer for the way the things were handled.
