Four more people die due to dengue in Lahore, death toll increases 315

 

 

According to reports from the various hospitals and healthcare centres, four more dengue patients lost their battle against dengue in Lahore, on Thursday, October 27th. The total death toll due to dengue pandemic has surged from 309 to 315 in
the provincial capital.

According to research findings, 50-year-old, Asghari Bibi of Ravi Road and 60-year-old Nawaz of Gujrat succumbed to dengue in the Mayo Hospital. In the meantime, 80-year-old Imam Bukhsh of Bagrian Chowk and 50-year-old Muhammad Yousaf of Depalpur died due
to dengue in the Jinnah Hospital.

During the last 24 hours, around about 20 dengue patients were tested posited in Faisalabad, increasing the total number dengue victims up to 1,400 in the city. In addition, 12 new dengue cases had been reported in the Nishtar Hospital, on Thursday. According
to the research reports from the various private and public hospitals and healthcare centres, almost 540 dengue patients had been reported in Multan.

Around about 215 new dengue patients had been reported during the last 24 hours in the city of Lahore. More importantly, the total numbers of dengue-hit patients have been increased from 18000 to 20000 in the metropolitan area during the last one and half
months. More or less 35 dengue patients were reported at the Mayo Hospital, 14 in Children’s Hospital and 27 in the Jinnah Hospital.

Moreover, almost 10 dengue patients were tested positive in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, 20 in Services Hospital and 10 in Lahore General Hospital. Add to that, almost 20 dengue-hit victims had been reported at Shaikh Zayed Hospital and 6 in Institute of Public
Health. Furthermore, around about 76 dengue patients had been reported at various private and public healthcare centres, hospitals, laboratories and clinics during the last 24 hours, in Lahore, on Thursday.

Despite the dengue’s dominance in Punjab, several dengue patients have been reported in the other provinces of Pakistan, including Khyber Paktunkhawa and Sindh and Balochistan.

Meanwhile, the dengue experts have suggested the people to adopt preventive measures for the control of dengue. The dengue epidemic has been proving to be a vicious pandemic in the provincial capital over the period of time.
