Freida Pinto – Journey from ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ to ‘Immortal’

There is only one lucky person among million, who is fortunate enough that a debut film becomes a reason for his or her fame, an Indian actress Freida Pinto is one of those lucky ones. This young model and actress has earned a lot through her first film
Slum Dog Millionaire, which later on took her to the big screen of Hollywood.

Starting her career from theater, Frieda never knew she will reach at the peak in a small span of time. Danny Boyel who picked this auspicious lady for his project Slumdog Millionaire, was so surprised by her outstanding performance that she was also nominated
as the best actress in a supporting role in the BAFTA Awards 2009.

Her beautiful acting assisted her in earning huge recognition at Hollywood. In next to no time she started receiving offers for numerous films and projects.

This 27-year-old star has become a great threat for many stars, the big project she has been signed for proves her success. Besides ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ Freida was signed for You Will ‘Meet s Tall Dark Stranger’ in 2010, in the same year she was casted
for ‘Miral’.

The year 2011 has been a lucky year for Freida Pinto, four of her movies has released on the Hollywood box office, among them the ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ peaked the rankings. Right after this ‘Trishna’ and ‘Black Gold’ was released.

Her latest film which will soon be made public is ‘Immortal’, likewise other hits she is casted in the leading role in this movie as well.

According to Bollywood, Freida Pinto’s movies have become a great competition for her nation’s stars (Indians), though they are content with her success.

This epic movie Immortal based on Olympian Gods and Titans will be released on the 11^th of November 2011, at 600 cinemas.

Besides gaining acting credits this woman has been praised by attaining a position as the ‘Most Beautiful People’s List’ in the ‘People’, magazine as well as the ‘World’s Best Dressed Women’. In a poll conducted by the ‘Askmen.com’ her name was among the
‘Top 99 Most Desirable Women’.  

Freida Pinto’s confidence and her sparkling talent is the only reason behind her success. While discussing about her triumphs she once said, “This industry is for fighters and those who do not give up! It is very important to believe in yourself.”
