Bahria University need to cut down class timings or give extended breaks

Having been a student at Bahria University for the last four years, I have run into a number of problems that I feel should be corrected at the institution. However, one of the major problems with the University, is the class timings that they have going
and the irregular break patterns that they have developed.

On average a normal class lasts about 50 minutes, but tends to go on for an hour. However, teachers now prefer to take three classes in a row and that means sitting in a class for three hours straight having your mind melted by words, that fail to make any
sense after the first hour.

Now, should the teachers follow a regular pattern of giving a break every forty minutes, the students wouldn’t end up sleeping in class, or failing to understand just what is really going on.

However, teachers tend to teach as they please and give breaks as they please. Some teachers end up giving you 20 minutes off after one and a half classes, while some fail to even let you take a five minute break in between.

Based on recent studies, it has been revealed that students really can’t understand/ retain any information after the first forty minutes, which is why it is amazing to look at the way the class timings have been sorted.

At the same time, I would like to highlight the ridiculous time table the university has. There are classes, who have two periods with one teacher, then one with another, and then a class with the first teacher instead. That literally makes no sense. In
fact, it is one of the weirdest ways to construct a time table.

Nonetheless, hopefully the university will end up assigning time for official breaks and make it standard, before the students turn into mindless zombies just waiting for class to end (However, I fear that may have already happened.)
