Don 2 – The King is Back Movie Review

Today Farhan Akhtar’s much-anticipated film ‘Don 2 – The King is Back’ finally got released in the cinemas worldwide and the movie has been liked by the audience a lot. There is no doubt that after the
failure of ‘Ra. One’, this is a very important movie for the King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan, as with the success of Don 2 he will certainly regain his image.

Don 2 is sequel to the remake of the Amitabh Bachchan’s classic film ‘Don’, Don – The Chase Begins Again, which was released in 2006.

The film has some great action sequences in it alongside some witty, zany and cool dialogues. It’s a stylish package for the audience with King Khan’s excellent performance.

In the film the ruthless Don (Khan) is shown as one of the most wanted criminals across the globe but mysteriously he surrenders himself to the Interpol officers Roma (Priyanka Chopra), Malik (Om Puri)
and the Kuala Lumpur in order to gain protection from criminal prosecution as he promises the authorities that he will give out all the information on his contacts and illegal activities.

However, upon getting in to the prison he makes a friend Vardhaan (Boman Irani) before he escapes with him with a lethal plan of bringing Europe to its knees. He also contacts his loyal moll (Lara Dutta)
and an ex-hacker (Kunal Kapoor) in the meantime to make his plan successful. In the remaining film there is a high octane action sequence, as it shows how the ruthless Don deals with the hurdles he faces with Roma, Malik and the European authorities.

The movie contains some of the best action scenes which have never been seen on the Indian screens before. It gives the impact of an international crime thriller though this awesome film is a completely
original product.

The action scenes shown on hot wheels on the streets of Berlin are simply mind blowing which keeps the audience on the edge. Moreover, there are some great one-liners in the film.

All in all, Don 2 – The King is Back is a very good movie and I would strongly recommend everyone to watch it.
