Islamabad looks forward to build ties with Afghanistan: Salman Bashir
Islamabad: (Wednesday, January 25, 2012) Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir said today that Pakistan was enthusiastic about building ties with Afghanistan.
Talking to the reporters after attending the meeting convened by National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Bashir said Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar will visit Kabul soon to push the envelope further.
Responding to a query, secretary foreign affairs said relations with America and NATO were contingent upon Parliament’s decisions.
Commenting on NATO’s indiscriminate attacks on Salala check post, he said they were violations of Pakistan’s sovereignty in the light of all international laws.
Earlier, appearing before the National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, the secretary foreign affairs briefed them on the bill regarding development of biological weapons in Pakistan.
