Veena Malik: I’d charge 1 lakh to give people a glimpse of me, not a film

The controversial queen of Pakistan, Veena Malik, has always locked headlines for wrong reasons and once again the actress landed into the middle of a controversy after a Bollywood source claimed that she is one of the lowest paid actresses in the industry. However, when asked, Veena rejected all reports and confirmed there is nothing like this.

The actress recently celebrated her 25^th birthday on February 26 in Mumbai where she made the comments.

She said, “No way, I’d charge 1 lakh to give people a glimpse of me, not a film.”

Veena is currently participating in Hemant Madhukar’s upcoming 3D horror film ‘Mumbai 125 Km’, which will hit the cinemas in May this year. She is also working on other films like ‘Zindagi 50/50’, ‘All U Need… LOVE’ and ‘Mr. Money’. Nevertheless, Veena’s upcoming project ‘Supermodel’, in which she is going to play a lead role opposite to her ex-flame Ashmit Patel, is attracting a lot of media limelight and obviously the main reason behind is Ashmit.

Veena and Ashmit participated in the fourth season of one of the most possessed Indian TV shows ‘Bigg Boss’ and both stars fell in love during their stint in the house. Though later on they got separated for some unknown reason, people are still curious about them.

Veena confirmed the media that she and Ashmit are no more in a relationship but they will be start meeting each other once again now for the shooting of ‘Supermodel’. The actress is also excited about the travelling she will have to shoot the scenes.

“Ashmit was not around. We are not that close anymore. We don’t meet often. I have signed a film with him so maybe we will meet when we start shooting,” says Veena.

“It will be shot in Australia and the Fiji Island and since I love travelling, it will be super fun,” she said.

Well, all said and done, let’s see if Veena really rocks on the big screen in Indian because the Pakistani beauty has not yet made her Bollywood debut.
