Sunny Leone: People are going to watch ‘Jism 2’ because of me

The Indo-Canadian porn star, Sunny Leone, has once again landed in India, this time to participate in Mahesh Bhatt’s forthcoming film ‘Jism 2’, which is a sequel to the 2003 hit film ‘Jism’, and the actor knows her worth very well.

‘Jism 2’ is one of the most eagerly awaited films of this year at this point in time and the main reason behind the films enormous hype is obviously the presence of Leone since people anxiously want to see a world class porn star as a mainstream Bollywood actress.

When Leone was asked about it, she said she knows that most of the people will watch ‘Jism 2’ because of her but on the same note the actor insisted that she wants everyone to focus on the character and not ‘Sunny Leone’.

Leone said, “Of course, I know that the people who’re going to watch the movie are going because of my name and who I am. I hope it’s something they look past and see me as someone who wants to work hard.”

Leone rose to fame during her stint in the Bigg Boss house but initially she faced a lot of criticism from the Indian nation for being a porn star. Nevertheless, things have changed now and Leone is extremely happy about it.

She added, “It’s the most amazing feeling that people are responding to me and I really want to do a good job with this movie. When people watch the film, I want them to forget about Sunny Leone and focus on the character. I want to be a believable character, because “Jism 2” has a great script and story.”

‘Jism 2’ will feature Sunny Leone as the female lead whereas the likes of Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh will play the male leads in the movie. Meanwhile, another Bollywood actor Imran Zahid will also play a key role in the movie.

Well, all said and done, let’s see if Leone can really overshadow Bipasha Basu’s performance in the original film ‘Jism’, which left people spellbound almost a decade back.
