PM Gilani meets President Obama; discuss PK-US relations
Seoul: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani had an informal one-on-one meeting with US president Barak Obama.
As the meeting between two leaders discussed Pak-US relations, Gilani told Obama that the parliament was to take a decision on the future course of relations between the two countries.
President Obama told Prime Minister Gilani that he respected the recommendations forwarded by the Pakistani Parliament.
The leaders are in Seoul, South Korea, to attend the Nuclear Security Summit. The Summit aims to curb the threat of nuclear terrorism and is a follow up to a similar summit hosted by the US president Obama in Washington back in
2010.
It has been confirmed through the sources at White House that both the leaders will have a formal meeting on tomorrow after the Nuclear Security Summit.
