Sam Worthington: ‘Wrath of the Titans’ will be a huge hit

The actor has insisted that the sequel to ‘Clash of the Titans’ will be appreciated amongst the audiences as it is better than the original. He claimed that the next film has better action and the performances are certainly better.

Worthington stated that he likes his performance in the sequel in comparison to the original as his role is much more important. The Australian added that the situations and roles have been given much more importance and is confident that ‘Wrath if the Titans’ will be a huge success at the Box Office.

The ‘Avatar’ star stressed that the special effects are amazing in the film which makes it much more realistic.

“Well, I like my performance better. Because I don’t think I had a character in the first one — and I think I created one this time. I like the fact that we dealt more with issues like family that we kind of utilize with Liam and Ralph [Fiennes]. And it was one of the big things that me and [director] Jonathan [Liebesman] set out to try to do. I like the fact the special effects in this one are amazing — they look much better,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

On the other hand, Worthington, who is critical about his performances, admitted that he likes to criticise himself in the public as he learns a lot. The actor also revealed that the expectations from ‘Avatar 2’ are humongous and is looking forward to the release of the film.

“Well, if there’s stuff that I didn’t do in “Avatar 1” that I want to put in “Avatar 2” — whether that’s criticism or healthy constructive criticism,” he concluded.

‘Wrath of the Titans is set to release on March 30 worldwide.
