Shahrukh Khan insists Katrina Kaif is a stupendous actor

It’s been over nine years since Katrina Kaif is working in the Indian filmmaking industry and everyone who has worked with her till now has commended her but this time the one praising her is none other than the King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan.

The 46-year-old Khan, will be seen sharing screen with Kaif for the first time ever in Yash Chopra’s forthcoming romantic film, which has not been titled as of yet, and he thinks that his co-star is a stupendous actor. Khan further added that he tried to adapt himself to Katrina’s approach.

“I got to shoot with Katrina Kaif for the first time, which was wonderful. I do a couple of films a year and I haven’t worked with her. I think she is a stupendous actor. Everyone says about her being hardworking and very talented. Its more important how we work together..how we work as a team,” Shah Rukh told reporters.

Shahrukh and Katrina were both in London for the shooting and in their absence rumours revolving around suggested as if they are just having fun out there. Nevertheless, when asked Shahrukh, he immediately rejected all reports and said that they had put in a lot of hard work and there is never anything like picnic whenever an actor goes out of the country for the shooting of a film.

“I read that shooting with Yash Chopra is a picnic but shooting is never a picnic. It was hardly like a picnic and it was very cold. Its hard work.. its a difficult film. It is nice to shoot with Yashji after 6-7 years. Its nostalgic, very tricky. Shooting is nice with him because we are one big family. We have worked with each other for 21 years. There are lots of moments and we have had great time making films,” Shahrukh added.

Yash Chopra, who has returned to direction after a gap of eight years, has given the industry some evergreen films like ‘Waqt’, ‘Deewar’, ‘Kabhi Kabhie, Silsila’, ‘Lamhe’, ‘Chandni’, ‘Darr’, ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ and ‘Veer-Zaara’ and Shahrukh has always been his first choice.

The film is slated for Diwali release and it will also feature Anushka Sharma in a key role.
