Matthew Wade launched up his first ever test century in the first-innings of the third test between Australia and West Indies to push the visitors up to 328 after being reduced to 169/7. The wicket keeper batsman made 106 runs from 46 balls which included
10 fours and 3 sixes.

The Aussie top order failed to capitalise on a decent start provided by David Warner and Shane Watson after Ed Cowan was trapped in front by Ravi Rampaul for 1. Warner and Watson made 50 and 41 respectively before the latter became first of the six victims
of unorthodox spinner, Shane Shillingford.

Warner soon followed him after adding 21 for the third wicket with former skipper, Ricky Ponting. He was caught by Narsingh Deonarine off Windies skipper, Darren Sammy. Current Aussie captain, Michael Clarke added 37 for the fourth wicket with Ponting before
the Punter was dismissed for 23.

Clarke made 24 and Mike Hussey 10 before a healthy stand between Wade and Mitchell Starc 57 and then a 102-run stand between Wade and Ryan Harris took the visitors up to 328 before Ben Hilfenhaus was the last man to leave for 19.

Shilligford picked up six wickets while Kemar Roach, Rampaul and Sammy picked up a wicket each. Starc was run-out.

West Indies in reply, made a decent recovery after losing Kraigg Brathwaite early for a duck. Adrian Barath and Keiron Powell added 61 for the second wicket before Barath went for 29. Darren Bravo and Powell added 11 for the third wicket before Bravo edged
a delivery from Warner on to his pads for 10.

Powell lost his way for 40, Deonarine 7, Carlton Baugh 5, Sammy 10 and Shillingford 0 as the home side were reduced to 120/8. The old war-horse, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and fast bowler, Rampaul, added 45 runs for the ninth wicket and are unbeaten at the crease
with 34 and 24 runs respectively to their names.

With 163 runs behind, the hosts will start their first innings at 165/8 on the third day.
