Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon renew vows in Paris

Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon renewed their marriage vows in Paris yesterday. The couple renewed their marriage in a ceremony which was held at the top of the Eiffel Tower on Friday.

Carey and Cannon had married four years ago in Bahamas but get married every year as part of a tradition. The couple have two children, twins, born last year in April. The ceremony was followed by a romantic dinner at the Jules Verne restaurant on top of the Eiffel tower.

Mariah Carey insisted that it was an amazing night for her. She expressed her delight on the beautiful dinner and admitted that it is a great gesture to show the unconditional love for each other.

The singer also thanked the fans who had come in large numbers and claimed that she is honoured with all the love and support.

“Tonight was an incredible night, I can’t express how amazing it was to renew our vows in Paris at the top of the Eiffel tower. Thank you so much to all the fans who came out as always and showed their love and support. I love you,” she wrote on a social networking website.

Nick Cannon also expressed his pleasure and added that they will continue the ritual in the years to come also.

“We get married every year; it’s our thing. I just have to keep doing it to make sure it’s real,” he concluded.
