The Pakistani starlet, Ali Zafar, is having a high time in India as he has given the Bollywood industry three hit movies in a row. Ali, who has created a huge fan base in the country, has been nominated for many awards in the past but this time he has finally won one. The actor has received his first Stardust Award in the Superstar of Tomorrow category and he is very happy about it.
Upon winning the best new talent trophy award at the 143rd Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Awards, Ali stated he doesn’t have any words to explain his feelings.
He said: “I really adore this award. It’s really a big and prestigious honour for me. I feel I am too small for an award like this. So, I would like to thank the jury for thinking about me for such a prestigious award.”
“I couldn’t have had asked for more. I don’t have words to explain my happiness and gratitude towards the academy,” he added.
In the meantime, Ali commended the Bollywood industry and the actors for their wonderful support. The actor insisted Bollywood has a big heart and the Indian nation is really supportive and that’s a reason why Hollywood and Lollywood actors love to be a part of it.
“Katrina Kaif (with whom he worked in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan) is a good actress, a good friend and there are other friends also who supported me and cared for me,” the 31-year-old said at the awards ceremony Thursday.
He added, “I think Bollywood is the world’s biggest industry. It has a big heart and even the Indian audiences have a big heart. If you see the industry, you’ll find people from all over the world working because of its adaptable nature. It doesn’t matter if you are from Hollywood or Lollywood, you should work here to experience all of it.”
Ali Zafar is currently participating in David Dhawan’s ‘Chashme Buddoor’ remake and after this film he will be seen in ‘Vettai’ remake.
