Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meets to observe Ramadan crescent

Karachi: (Friday, July 20, 2012) The meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is currently underway to observe the crescent for the month of Ramadan 1433 A.H.

Concurrently, meeting of Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees is also being held in the building of Ministry of Religious Affairs in Islamabad.

Moreover, zonal committees are also meeting in their respective areas.

As per the details shared by the MET office, there is strong possibility of the moon being sighted on the coastal areas of Sindh and Balochistan.

Amid a cloudy weather in rest of the country, there are low chances of moon being sighted, said the MET office.
