Sunny Leone ‘Jism 2’ in trouble once again!

The Indian director Pooja Bhatt has proved her as one of the smartest out there when it comes to a film’s promotion because her upcoming film ‘Jism 2’ has successfully remained in the news ever since she started working on it.

Controversy is the main reason behind the popularity of ‘Jism 2’, as many out there don’t like the presence of the Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone in it.

Leone, who rose to fame during her stint in Bigg Boss house, is set to make her Bollywood debut with ‘Jism 2’ but she has once again she is at the crux of the controversy.

This time a PIL has been slammed against the adult actress in the Allahabad High Court, which seeks a stay on the release of the film. The PIL has also challenged the provisions of the law which define power of the Censor Board in India.

Activist Rakesh Nayayik, who has filed the PIL, believes Leone’s presence in a mainstream B’town film will not put a good effect on the society and therefore the movie should be allowed to hit the cinemas.

Advocate SMA Kazmi, the legal counsel who is handling the case, has elaborated, “We have sought a stay order on the release of Jism 2 because of the sexually explicit content of the movie, and the inclusion of Sunny Leone in the film, for the adverse moral impact that her presence would have on society.”

“Till now, there were usually two routes that one took into the film industry — one, through film schools or theatre, and two, via modelling. But inducting a porn star into Bollywood is introducing a third and more questionable medium of entry into Hindi films,” he added.

Well, all said and done, ‘Jism 2’, which is scheduled to hit the cinemas on August 3 this year, has been passed with an A-certificate by the Indian Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) but still let’s see if Nayayik remains persistent.
