Aftab Sherpao’s residence attacked

Peshawar: (Tuesday, July 24, 2012) Prominent Politician from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Aftab Sherpao’s residence came under attack as unknown assailants thrown a hand grenade onto it. The residence was also being used as a political office
of the PPP Sherpao group.

As Aftab himself was not in the office, located in Hayatabad area of the city, when the attack was launched, he escaped any injuries.

One man who was present in the office during attack’s time sustained injuries and was rushed to the Hayatabad Medical Complex where his condition is reported to be out of danger.

According to the police sources, the assailants fled the scene following the attack.
