Lahore’s Tandoor boy tops graduation exam

Lahore: (Saturday, August 11, 2012) Pakistan is usually considered among the countries with minimal national expenditure on social services including education, however, national expenditure by no means is a measure or benchmark
of the national talent as with regard to education, Pakistani students stun the world time and again. In a similar development, Muhammad Mohsin, son of a labourer of Hafizabad has topped the BA/B.Sc exam in Punjab University by obtaining 688 marks.

Talking to the news reporters, Muhammad Mohsin said that he is son of a labourer and himself works at a Tandoor to help his family. He said, “I could not afford college fees due to this I appeared in private exams.” He further
said that now he wishes to get admission for his masters, but due to non-availability of funds, he has little chances of doing it.

After getting the distinction, Mohsin has now requested the Punjab government to provide him scholarship so that he could continue his education.

Mohsin’s parents are very happy over the success and great achievement of their son.
