Timothy Bradley, the current WBO welterweight champion, has started to get impatient while waiting for Manny Pacquiao to decide, who he wants to fight next.
The Filipino boxing star lost his title to Bradley on June 9 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, in a fight which ended up in a storm of controversy. Many out there believed it was a clear win for Pac-Man and this is a reason why the American was refused for a rematch.
However, there were slight chances of a rematch on November 10 but now the rumors revolving around are suggesting that perhaps Pacquiao may not return to the ring in November in order to set up a mega fight with the undefeated American legend Floyd Mayweather, who currently holds the WBC welterweight and WBA (Super) light middleweight belts.
Therefore, Bradley, also known as Desert Storm, is still in limbo as he waits to learn his fate.
The 28-year-old pugilist got a bit impatient recently during a media interaction and claimed that Pacquiao is scared of him and that why he is ignoring him.
“Are we going to get it on? If not, tell me now so I can move on,” Bradley told My Desert. “I’m ready to move on. If we’re not going to do it, say ‘Bradley it’s not you. I don’t want to fight you.’”
“To be honest with you, I think a lot of people on that side are scared,” Bradley said to the Desert Sun. “He couldn’t knock me out with two peg legs [Bradley injured both during the Pacquiao fight]. Me healthy, I’m going to beat him worse.
“If Manny wants to do it, let’s do it. It’s been a circus around here. I’ve been sitting around here waiting. I want the fight, but he hasn’t decided yet.”
Well, all said and done, Bradley got the biggest payday of his career by fighting Pacquiao and he certainly wants to have it again but let’s see if he really gets a green signal from Manny Pacquiao.
