Sindh receives heavy rains

Karachi: Heavy rains have been observed in various parts of Sindh Province, while expectations for light drizzle are also reported in Karachi.

According to the details, the heavy pouring lashed Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Jhuddo, Dagri, Tharparkar, Hyderabad, Thatta, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Bago, Sanghar and some other areas of the province.

The downpour culminated in turning the weather pleasant and the masses took relief of the scorching temperatures.

The present rains are particularly beneficial for the farmers who were worried about water shortage for the paddy crops.
