The dusky beauty Bipasha Basu has insisted on several occasions that she has never been comfortable with the on-screen kissing scenes but now the actress doesn’t found them much difficult to do.
The 33-year-old recently had an interview with the DNA India, in which was asked about her upcoming film ‘Raaz 3’, which is a sequel to Raaz – The Mystery Continues (2009), which itself was a sequel to Raaz (2002).
In the movie, which will hit the cinema halls on September 7, Bipasha is playing opposite to Emraan Hashmi and she has awarded him with the longest smooch of her career.
During the interview when Bips was asked about it, she said she doesn’t feel much nervousness now while doing on-screen kissing scenes.
She told DNA, “I have become a little more comfortable with these scenes now. I remember I drove Siddharth (Anand) and Aditya Chopra up the wall over the kissing scene (for film Bachna Ae Haseeno). I would keep saying, ‘can we please not do akissing scene, can we do a lovemaking scene instead?’I am pro-lovemaking on-screen, it is very easy, kissing is too intimate. But they did not listen to me.”
Bipasha’s film with John Abraham ‘Jism’, released in 2003, was liked a lot by the adult audiences and the reason behind was obviously Bipasha’s bold performance in it.
Nevertheless, the bong beauty says she agreed to the film only because of John Abraham.
She stated, “At that point of time I was dating John (Abraham) so it was not such a big thought process of doing a sexually strong film.If it was any other actor, I think I might not have done it. Because I am so petrified of kissing anyone, on screen, till now. So, it just happened.”
Well, all said and done, Bipasha’s ‘Raaz 3’ has created an enormous hype among the audiences so let’s see how she has performed in the movie.
Along with Emraan and Bipasha, the movie will also feature former Miss India Esha Gupta in the lead role.
