The tactician claims that he will be travelling to Europe for player scouting and that the East Asian side could host the Green Shirts in the next month or so.

“I plan to visit England and Denmark in November to watch all foreign-based players of Pakistani origin. And I would expect them to join Pakistan team and give sacrifice for the country of their origin.”

“I will really expect them to give their best as their inputs could earn much honour for the country which needs to raise its standard at international level.”

“If we are unable to get a few foreign-based players in the senior side then we cannot expect any good result from the outfit. I have full support of the PFF top bosses, the president and secretary, as they have told me to bring in foreign-based players
and form a good side and I will try my level best to rope in more players from abroad.”

“I have talked to Singapore’s coach who is also Serbian and hopefully we will be able to finalise the deal under which Pakistan would play two matches against them in Singapore on FIFA days in November,” he added.
