Bollywood actress Sridevi has performed in more than 265 films but the reigning queen of the 1980s and 1990s, who has made a comeback after 15 years, says she is yet to deliver her best.

Only a few can forget Sridevi’s portrayals in the films such as ‘Sadma’ and ‘Lamhe’. She has won four Filmfare awards for her magnificent performance in ‘Chaalbaaz’, ‘Lamhe’, Tamil Film ‘Meendum Koklia’ and Telugu venture ‘Kshana Kshanam’. However, it seems as if the actress is still not satisfied.

“There is a lot more to do,” the 49-year-old actress told IANS.

“I have not done much as an actor. There is no end for an artist and my best is yet to come. There are more creative characters to play which has no limits,” she added.

Sridevi will sizzle on the big screen in Gauri Shinde’s upcoming film ‘English Vinglish’. The film has been released in Toronto but it will hit the cinema halls in India on October 5.

The evergreen beauty was asked whether if she will ever become a director, on which she immediately replied by saying a no.

The actress said she knows a bit about production of the films because of her husband but she doesn’t understand the box office numbers at all. About direction she said it is not her cup of tea.

“I believe in good films and bad films. Box-office business and all is my husband’s section. Sometimes I really get surprised when good films don’t do well… Sometimes you are really shocked when an average film does very well,” she said.

‘English Vinglish’, in which Sridevi will play opposite to the likes of Mehdi Nebbou, Priya Anand and Adil Hussain, is one of the most eagerly awaited films of this season since millions of Sridevi fans are anxiously waiting for the film.

Nevertheless, when asked Sridevi she said she doesn’t want people to tag ‘English Vinglish’ as return as her comeback film.

She said, “I never felt I was out of this industry. I don’t term it as my comeback.”
