Joe Wu punishes Suk Hoon Jung in Men’s Singles opening round at Korea Grand Prix Gold 2012

New Zealand’s impressive player Joe Wu showed a staggering performance in Men’s Singles opening round when he outplayed the local opponent Suk Hoon Jung at the Korea Grand Prix Gold 2012 on Tuesday, December 4, in Korea.

The in-form Joe, who has been working really hard to get highest class skills, showed a superb performance in the arena and easily overpowered Suk Hoon in a dominating manner in just 28 minutes.

Joe played flawless badminton throughout the battle and did not miss any chance to maintain his supremacy in the arena. He easily toppled Korean shuttler in straight games with a convincing margin on the board.

Meanwhile, Suk Hoon failed to live up to expectations as he could not respond positively to the perfect play of his challenger and eventually went down without even finishing close.

It was an interesting fight in the opening points when Joe showed a wonderful display of his skills on court.

The impressive variations in Joe’s shots assisted him to continue his domination against his challenger in the arena.

Until the end of first part of starting game, the remarkable Joe obtained a strong position on score board by taking a reasonable lead.

Suk Hoon tried his best to put up strong resistance but remained unable to take charge of the game and remained struggling in the concluding part.

Joe was very calm and composed on court as he did not commit mistakes and won the first game with a staggering difference of 21-10.

Suk Hoon geared up his speed to play smart badminton in the first part of second set but he failed to pile up pressure on his opponent.

Until the end of first part, the incredible Joe continued playing with control and variations and remained ahead on score board.

Joe continued putting up stunning performance in the concluding half of second set and remained successful in clinching the game with a sound 21-14 score on score board.

The lofty Joe showed exit to Suk Hoon in an inspiring fashion by finishing off the first round encounter in straight games with a superb total of 21-10 and 21-14.
