Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) is observing “Yaum-e-Dua” on Friday to thank Almighty Allah for victory in the general elections and forming its governments at centre and in Punjab Province.
Yaum-e-Dua is being observed across the country on the call of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Special prayers will be offered during Friday prayers for the progress‚ prosperity and welfare of the country.
The faithful will pray to God Almighty to shower His special blessings on the homeland and help it overcome all the challenges.
Nawaz Sharif is leading Pakistan for third time, the first Pakistani leader in the country’s nearly 66-year history.
Similarly Shahbaz Sharif was also sworn in the Punjab Chief Minister for third time on Thursday.
The new government faces many huge challenges including security, energy crisis, fragile economy, rampant corruption, price-hike, unemployment and on external from relationship with the US, India and Afghanistan.
Nawaz Sharif seeks cooperation of other parties to find out solution to the problems.
The first test of the new government will be the new budget in the coming few days. The people expect some relief measures in the 2013-14 budget.
