Pervaiz Rashid delighted with media’s role during Pindi incident

Information Pervaiz Rashid came out in the open in order to appreciate what the media has done during the time there were riots in Rawalpindi after the 10^th of Muharram.

While addressing an event organized by the Press Council on Tuesday, the information minister said that there are quite a lot of stakeholders when it comes to access of information. He was quite delighted with the improvement in the laws that grant less access to information. He also stated that he would like a law to be made which restricts secret information to become common.

He stated that he simply loved how the media handled the role which the media played throughout the Rawalpindi incident.
