US Newspaper Reveals Musharraf is a Headache for Nawaz Sharif

It was recently reported from Islamabad that the former military ruler, General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf is currently causing havoc for the current Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
The US Newspaper, Los Angeles Times, former president of Pakistan will be departing from Pakistan because he has given his medical report to the court. The newspaper believes that his presence in the country is causing a lot of trouble for Nawaz Sharif and once Musharraf receives treatment in exile, it is going to be good for both the parties.
The report also claimed that Musharraf can work as leverage for Nawaz Sharif, who is trying to prosecute a military figure; and this is happening for the first time in the history of Pakistan. This has caused a lot of tension with the all-powerful army who believe that the former leader should not be humiliated in a civilian court. This is also why Musharraf sent down a petition where he claimed that he should not be tried in a civilian court.
Several experts claim that Musharraf’s departure from the country is currently the only way the standoff between the government and the army can be resolved. As long as his case remains pending, the political temperature will keep on rising.
