15 Held Captive in Lahore Search Operation

It was reported from Lahore that during a search operation carried out by the Lahore police, Rangers and other law enforcing agencies, 15 suspects were caught and arrested.

The cantonment police was out on a raid around the Allama Iqbal International Airport during late nights on Monday, and during their search operation they were able to round up as many as 15 suspects.

The search operation, according to reports, started after 9:00PM and it was launched only to protect the Allama Iqbal International Airport. The police and other security forces covered other areas such as Gushan Air Colony, Ali Park and Nadirabad.

Throughout the operation there were several people involved. Almost 120 constables along with at least 10 sub-inspectors took part in this operation which was solely aimed to keep a check on suspicious people in these areas.

Reports claim that the Lahore Police is carrying out door-to-door search operations these days. They pick up one area of the city and try to round up as many suspicious people as possible.

Recently there have been several terrorist attacks not only in Lahore but also around the country. Therefore, the security forces are now carrying out operations so that such incidents do not take place in the future.
