Court Summons Umar Akmal

Pakistan is currently participating in the Asia Cup, where they have already lost the first game against Sri Lanka and played their second match against Afghanistan and managed to win. Umar Akmal was the hero of the game as he scored 102 runs in order to give Pakistan a steady total so they can compete against their neighbours.

The match ended with Umar Akmal being man of the match, but that does not help him in the court of law as he has been summoned for two different cases.

First he is going to be charged with a case of jumping a traffic signal. Secondly, he is going to be charged for scuffling with a warden.

He was released on bail after he was charged with these allegations on the first of February, when the police finally managed to catch him in Lahore.

Akmal now has to appear in the court on March 11^th, and till then he is expected to make it to Lahore as he is currently busy playing in the Asia Cup.

Akmal’s elder brother, Kamran Akmal, was also fined by the traffic police. He was seen talking on the phone while driving. However, Kamran Akmal stated that he decided to stop his car as soon as the police officer asked him to.
