PTCL Receives Best HR Practices Award

It was recently reported from Karachi that Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has been presented with the Best HR Practices Award in the telecom sector of the country. This award was given to them at the 4^th Global HR Excellence Awards which took place in Karachi.

These awards recognized several organizations and highlighted events and happenings which have been taking place in the corporate side of the country. Before giving this award it was explained how PTCL has managed to excel in its HR practices throughout the last year. They contributed positively by setting high standards in the field of Human Resource. PTCL’s integral and imperative HR practices were being hailed throughout the ceremony and were recognized as the best in the telecom industry.

The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Talent Management and Learning, Shahzad Safdar, came on the stage to receive the award for PTCL as he was representing them.

The event which was being hosted in Karachi compromised of more than seventy leading organizations which are currently operating within Pakistan. The industries varied from banking, telecommunication to SME’s. There were other corporate entities of Pakistan present in the ceremony as well.

The award received by PTCL highlighted their HR practices which included dynamic initiatives taken for organizational development.
