PAT workers arrive at Islamabad airport in large numbers

Dr. Tahirul Qadri of Pakistan Awami Tehreek will be landing in Pakistan around 8:10am. Government tried to seal the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
The plane is just landed at the airport. Thousands of PAT activists have arrived at the airport crossing the barriers. Police tried to stop the activists using tear gas shelling which failed to restrain the workers.
Before landing the flight, Dr. Tahirul Qadri tweeted “Direct shooting at #PAT workers a sign of inhumane criminal behaviour of PM & CM which must stop immediately or nation will march to ISB.”
There are no reports of direct shooting of gun fires on the PAT activisits.
Two helipads have been prepared near the residence of Dr. Qadri in Lahore. There is possibility that Dr. Qadri may be transported to Lahore in Helicopter.
The control of Islamabad airport security is in the hands of Pakistan Rangers and Airport Security Forces.
Chaudhary Shujahat Hussain of PML-Q is also present at the airport along with his workers. He was allowed to enter the airport.
Dr. Qadri’s flight EK612 has been diverted from Islamabad to Lahore according to Emirates Airline website. Flight will land at 9:35am.
