Teenage girl in Abbottabad burnt alive for helping classmate elope

A badly burnt and mutilated body of a teenage girl was found in a vehicle in Abbottabad and now the gruesome details of the incident have started emerging.

According to sources, the girl was murdered on the decision of a local Jirga, for helping her classmate elope. The body of the girl was found inside a car which was parked near the Makol village, seven days ago. In the beginning, the case was ruled as suicide and it was speculated that the girl was mentally disturbed.

However, police investigations revealed a different and horrific story. According to reports, the girl, who was a student of 9th grade, had allegedly helped her classmate elope with her boyfriend. When the girl’s family found out, the local Jirga was informed and she was kidnapped from her house on the same night.

The details revealed that the main person accused in this case is named Muhammad Parvez, who presided over the Jirga. Parvez went to the girl’s house on the night she was kidnapped, and called her outside. He then gave her something to eat with sedatives mixed in it. After consuming the food item, the girl fell unconscious and she was abducted.

Parvez, along with accomplices, raped the girl and then tied her to the back seat of a car before setting her on fire.

Graphic images of the girl’s mutilated body made rounds on the internet and sparked outrage among people. After seeing those pictures, a local resident approached journalists to highlight the issue and present the true story, so that justice is provided to the family.

Police arrested 14 suspects, including Parvez and the victim’s mother. The police also revealed that Parvez has confessed to the murder and now justice will be served to the accused.
